Remember that car I blogged about earlier?

Well it is fixed now. Well fixed somewhat, there is one part we want to replace, but my cousin didn't have it so we are getting it somewhere else. It works fine without it, but the only things working in the dashboard right now is MPH and fuel level.
Turns out it was only the engine cooling system that was nonfunctioning. The head-gasket which we assumed where gone, well we were pretty sure something was wrong with the engine. I mean when you lose a lot of engine power, it is safe to assume there is something wrong with the engine, is it not? Anyway this means it is a lot cheaper for me, still close to 1,000 US $, well with the other part the car needs it will end up somewhere between 1,100 and 1,200$, not in the 2,500 - 3,000$ range which I believed first.
Also my dad is keeping his promise I believe, giving the car to me, the price for it, is the price I pay to get it fixed. :D Although that also means gas, insurance and yearly fee (everyone with a car has to pay a yearly fee to the govs just for owning a car here, dunno how it is in your countries) for me... Plus everything that has to be fixed on this car in the future. =/
