Repair Methods

There are three main ways to boost repair efficiency: using a consumable, getting a stat augment, or attaching a parasite.

Each option alters your run in different ways, so the method you choose depends on your current build and the risks you are willing to take in Returnal.

The Repair Enhancer is a consumable that temporarily increases your repair efficiency. When activated, it doubles the amount of healing you receive for 60 seconds. This makes it effective during difficult fights or when preparing to recover health before entering a boss encounter.

Repairs Augment

You may find the Repairs Augment in specific fabricators throughout the biomes. This stat augment permanently increases your repair efficiency by 20% for the rest of that cycle.

Because it provides a consistent benefit, it is one of the more stable ways to raise your healing effectiveness.

Needletooth Parasites

Parasites offer both advantages and drawbacks, making them less predictable than other options.

Any Needletooth Parasite type provides a boost to repair efficiency similar to that of the Repair Augment. Since parasites also apply a debuff, you must weigh the tradeoff before attaching one in Returnal.
