Sonic: The Lost World will have a competitive mode and different exclusive content

According to Sega, Sonic: The Lost World will have console specific distinctions on the Wii U and 3DS. The 3DS version will host "exclusive Special Stages and Color Powers unquie to the 3DS" and the Wii U version will support off-tv play and "two player support mode".

Both versions will include competitive multiplayer modes, although it was explained in detail. Sonic: The Lost World is expected to release later this year and is one of 3 Sonic titles that will be exclusive to Nintendo consoles.
