Temptation

It's something we fight

A sin in the eyes of religion

But it's a battle some cannot win

The one's that win

Look at those who lose

As weak since they have no will

That's fictional

I've given in multiple times

Haven't you?

Does that make me weak?

I don't think so

We all have our faults,

Our weaknesses

We indulge ourselves

In sweets, violence,

and relationships

It's tempting us

We fall to our knees in weakness

It's just how we were made

Nobody's perfect

It's okay to crave certain things

As long as it doesn't end up

Being a priority over everything

You've gotta admit

Something tempts you

Whether it be

Food, a person,

or a lifestyle

Enjoy it

But don't give in to it

Temptations a b****

It's hard to deal with

So just don't try it

Be strong

Walk away from it.

 

A poem from 11/22/10 but I decided i needed to put another one up on here. I have more recent one's but i felt there should be a less emotional one.
