Valby is a cool new descendant that works around making the battlefield wet, and she gains a damage boost when you deal damage while standing on wet ground. Her skills revolving around wet laundry is quite silly indeed. This step-by-step guide will help you unlock this silly descendant for free!
You need the following 4 items to unlock Valby:
Valby Enhanced Cells (1)
Valby Stabilizer (1)
Valby Catalyst (1)
Valby Code (1)
Valby Enhanced Cells
To create the Valby Enhanced Cells, you'll need four sub-items: Repton, Superfluid, Data Processing, and Valby Enhanced Cells Blueprint.
First, obtain Repton by selecting Acquisition Info and navigating to Resource Box or Munitions in Kingston. After arriving at an outpost in Kingston, use the scan feature (Tab on keyboard) to locate the resource boxes. Each box can yield over 200 Repton, so you only need to repeat this a few times.
Next, find Superfluid in Sterile Land, either from Resource Boxes or Munitions Boxes. Travel to an outpost, use the scan feature, and collect the required Superfluid from the boxes. Repeat until you have enough.
For Data Processing, run a mission that takes five minutes or less. The final boss in these missions will drop the required item. Choose a quick mission and repeat it until you gather all necessary Data Processing items.
To get the Valby Enhanced Cells Blueprint, you need Amorphous Material. It's recommended to do the Intercept Battle for a guaranteed 100% drop rate. Select the mission, fight the boss, and collect the Amorphous Material. Then, head to Void Intercept Battles on normal difficulty, select Executioner, and you have a 38% chance of obtaining the blueprint.
Valby Stabilizer
For the Valby Stabilizer, gather Monar Shards, Compound Coding Material, and Murky Residue, and then obtain the Valby Stabilizer Blueprint.
Obtain Monar Shards from Resource Boxes or Munitions Boxes in Kingston. Use the scan feature at outposts to locate and collect the shards. Repeat as needed.
Find Compound Coding Material in Echo Swamp using the same method: scan for Resource or Munitions Boxes and gather the material. Repeat until you have enough.
For Murky Residue, complete specific missions (press F with the item selected to see available missions). Choose missions with level 16 monsters and run them repeatedly until you have enough residue.
To get the Valby Stabilizer Blueprint, collect Amorphous Material by defeating the Devourer. The mission for Amorphous Material has a 100% drop rate, making it efficient to farm. After collecting the material, fight the Devourer and obtain the blueprint.
Valby Catalyst
To create the Valby Catalyst, you need Metal Accelerant, Hardener, and Encrypted Circuit, followed by the Valby Catalyst Blueprint.
Gather Metal Accelerant in Sterile Land from Resource Boxes. Scan the area and collect the material from boxes until you have enough.
Collect Hardener from Resource or Munitions Boxes in Vestors. Use the scan feature at outposts to locate and gather the material. Repeat as needed.
For Encrypted Circuit, run quick missions (five minutes or less) in Echo Swamp. Choose the shortest missions, defeat the boss, and repeat until you have enough circuits.
To get the Valby Catalyst Blueprint, gather Amorphous Material by defeating Dead Bride. The Chapel mission has a 100% drop rate for the material. Collect enough Amorphous Material, then fight Dead Bride to obtain the blueprint.
Valby Code
For the Valby Code we recommend following this method to get it as quickly as possible.
Set your map to private in Sterile Land, fast travel to Rockfall, and complete the mission with the question mark. This mission can drop the Morpheus Material Pattern 006. If it doesn't drop, fast travel back to Albion and then return to reset the mission. Repeat until you obtain the material.
Head to the Void Fusion Reactor in Sterile Land and collect 12 Monomer Void Shards and 3 Polymer Void Shards. These shards are needed to activate the Void Fusion Reactor. Once activated, defeat the boss and interact with the station to potentially unlock the Valby Code.
Crafting Valby
Once you have all four items (Valby Enhanced Cells, Valby Stabilizer, Valby Catalyst, and Valby Code), head to Anais in Albion to start the crafting process. You'll need 200,000 gold for each item, and each research request takes eight hours. After completing the research for all items, collect them and initiate the final crafting process for Valby, which takes another 16 hours.
