The Killing Antidote Guide | Fast Food Restaurant Challenge NPC Locations

The Killing Antidote adds three companions that you can recruit to the Fast Food Restaurant Challenge. They make the run feel a lot easier. The problem is that these NPCs are hard to find, especially when there is poison mist and the roads are narrow. 

This guide tells you where to find all three companions quickly, as well as the one thing you need to do before you can recruit them.

Before you begin: First, get a gas mask

Poison mist is always a danger in the Fast Food Restaurant area, and it gets worse when friends join in. A gas mask protects you while you move through areas that have been contaminated, and your friends need masks too when they go into areas with poison gas. The quickest way to set up is to get masks first, then recruit everyone in one smooth loop.

Find the Gas Mask in Block C: Go to Block C and look for the vending machine at the entrance. This is the fastest way to get the masks without wasting time climbing or looking for them on lower floors. 

Get the Gas Mask, keep it in your inventory, and make sure it's ready before you go near friends who spawn in or near poisoned areas.

Location of Companion NPC 1: Near the Cemetery

The building to the right of the cemetery, across from the fast food restaurant, is where you can find Companion NPC 1. Don't waste time looking at graves or paths inside the fenced area because this isn't in the Cemetery. 

Go into the building next door, stay on the ground floor, and look through the rooms on the street level. You don't need to go upstairs for this friend.

Location of Companion NPC 2: Behind Block C

Companion NPC 2 is behind Block C, close to a garage area that is hidden under the building. Walk around the back of Block C until you can see the Bridge above you. 

Then, look straight down to find the entrance to the Garage. The companion is in this back-zone pocket, so be careful when you get close and have your gas mask ready in case there is mist on the way.

Location of Companion NPC 3: Residential Block Area

Companion NPC 3 is not close to any of the obvious entrances. To get to it, you usually have to take a short detour through the residential block lanes near the Fast Food Restaurant zone. 

Sweep the insides of the block room by room, starting with the closed doors and ground-floor areas to keep things moving quickly and safely. If the path takes you through fog, put on the Gas Mask before going deeper. After you recruit the companion, go back to the clearer streets.

Quick tips for making companions useful

Companions work best when they are kept alive early on, so you should stock up on healing items before dragging them through heavy waves. 

Keep masks on hand so that your companions don't become dead weight in the poison mist, and don't take long routes across rooftops when you're taking them through the blocks. 

When you have all three, staying close to safer lanes around Block C will help you stay in control while you switch between goals in the Fast Food Restaurant Challenge.
