The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Guide | How to Find and Defeat Lynel

How to find and Defeat Lynel Guide

Game Guide by Sabi on  Nov 30, 2024

Lynel is one of the strongest enemies you will face in Echoes of Wisdom; you can find the Echo as soon as you start to explore the Hyrule after defeating the Suthorn Ruins Dungeon right after starting the Searching the Everyone Main quest.

Where to Find Lynel

Echoes of Wisdom, Where to find Lynel

To find the Lynel, head north of the Hyrule Castle. Look for the warp point nearby, then start following the path that indicates the ends at the Eternal Forest.

Once there, you will see footprints, and if you check on the forest’s left side, there will be a powerful Moblin Echo. You will first encounter a Sword Moblin Lv. 2. A good strategy would be to use Wolf Echo in the front and Octorock Echo from the front; once defeated, you will then come across a Sword Moblin Lv. 3, which is more powerful and can cost you up to five triangles to spawn.

From the forest, a fast travel point follows the footprints on the ground. They start from the south, and once you have completed the whole rotation of following the footprints, Lynel will summon in front of you.

How to Defeat and Obtain Lynel

Echoes of Wisdom, How to defeat and obtain Lynel

Lynel is one of the strongest enemies and can deal a lot of damage. If you try to take him out early on, he can easily wipe you out in a single blow.  Lynel’s charging swipe is very hard to dodge when he is locked on and going to strike,

For this reason, make sure to summon a lot of other Echoes and keep Lynel occupied as much as possible, as his charge attacks are tough to avoid when he is only focused on you.

Try summoning the Lv. 2 Sword Moblin as much as possible. Even though the Lynel can take a lot of echoes out immediately, keep planting Sword Moblin so that it can do damage to the Lynel. Try summoning Echo as soon as he beats the previous ones. Try summoning a Wizzrobe for more damage, but make sure to have enough space so that it can fire off before Lynel attacks him.

Heavy Hitters like a Lv. 3 Sword Moblin are recommended to take him out. Once Defeated, you will be able to learn Lynel Echo.

How to Summon Lynel

Early on in the game, having Lynel is pretty useless. You need 6 points of Tri’s power to summon, which is more than your normal amount of points. Tri needs to be at least level, and you have to complete 7 Dungeons. The process can take a little less time if you complete optional rifts and side Quests.
