Titanfall 2 Multiplayer Trailer Analysis

Today along with the single-player campaign Respawn released the debut trailer for Titanfall 2's multiplayer. It's clear that Respawn Entertainment has been listening and plans to deliver on everything that Titanfall 1 was lacking.

Expanded Pilot System

The trailer featured a lot of new weapons and abilities for the Pilot. First of all the grappling hook is real and can be used to leap over Titans, hook onto Pilots to deliver lethal melee kills, and grab ledges too far away. 

Pilots also have access to new weapons and abilities. This includes a laser weapon, pulse gadget for seeing through walls, a singularity grenade, and Hologram perfect for distractions. Pilots will also have access to special assassination attacks, like in Halo: Reach, for surprise back-attacks.  

More Titans

Vince Zampella explained that 6 new Titans would join the roster. This includes new weapons such as a face laser, a ground pound that ignites the floow, and a side-laser perfect to killing pilots. Also shown was a brand-new Titan Takedown that's much more flashier than any other finishing move in Titanfall.

Beta
