Lots of gamers these days may not even know that JRPGs that they are playing may actually among of their favorite games. In the name itself, the definition of JRPG is: Japanese Role - Playing Game. There are so many popular titles are actually qualified as JRPGS and gamers don’t recognize them. Keeping the portrayals, here are the top five best JRPGS of 2019.
Releasing for the Nintendo Switch, Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a future tactical role - playing video game. The game is the sixteenth main title in the Fire Emblem series and the first since 2007's Fire Emblem on a home console: Radiant Dawn, and as such features more detailed graphics. Fire Emblem: Three Houses was promised during the Nintendo Direct, unfortunately, it was bad news. Confirming that the title has been delayed to 26 July, 2019.
A young man and Detective Pikachu join forces to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of his father. The dynamic duo will soon discover a devious plot that poses a threat to the Pokémon universe by chasing clues through the streets of Ryme City. You can try the adventure for free on the eShop. Detective Pikachu is releasing on May 2019 in Japan.
Shin Megami Tensei V for the Nintendo Switch is a role - playing video game in Atlus ' development. It is part of the series Shin Megami Tensei, part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise itself. Release date is yet to be announced, but we can hope to see it’s coming this year.
Daemon X Machina is an upcoming third - person action shooter developed for the Nintendo Switch by Marvelous and their First Studio subsidiary. It was first revealed at E3 2018 during the presentation of Nintendo. The game also includes acclaimed designers Shoji Kawamori from Armored Core 2 and 3 and producer Kenichiro Tsukuda from the same games. The release is scheduled for 2019.

Pokémon developer Game Freak has announced TOWN, a turn-based RPG for the Nintendo Switch that takes place entirely in one village. This village knew "lasting peace" until the sudden appearance of monsters. Saving the village from destruction is up to you and town members. Battles are turn-based and you can call other townspeople to help you overcome any and all challenges during the fight. TOWN is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
