Top V - Worst Video Game Relationships

Valentine's Day is almost here and while some of us are going to spent this year single there are worst options. That's why we've constructed a list of the top 5 worst video game relationships.

5. Dragonborn and Spouse

What makes the Skyrim relationships the worst is that once you enter into one the only way out is to kill your spouse, talk about an unhealthy relationship. Let's face it though most of the Skyrim community just wants to marry Serena. Once she became available it was uxoricide time.

4. Samus and Adam Malkovick

The father-daughter relationship between Samus Aran and Adam Malkovick in Metroid Fusion was profound and moving the bond in Metroid: Other M was anything but. Despite everything that transpires in the game it's Adam's order to force Samus to inactivate her weapons until he says so. Yea, instead of losing your weapons and upgrades Samus willing does not use the weapons and abilities that would be paramount in the life-and-death situations; like running into a volcano without her heat protection. 

3. EDI and Joker

EDI and Joker's relationship sprouted out of nowhere. Unlike other relationships within BioWare's other games, this one was more stoic and simply "meant to happen". Unlike other relationships, which developed and had a lot of meaning experiences attached to them, EDI and Joker's relationship felt more tacked on at the end of Mass Effect 3.

2. Vivi Orunitia and Quina Quen

The dubious marriage between these 2 unlikely lovers was meant to simply progress the story but it was still uneasy. Can you imagine if Vivi and Quina had children? Then again that would explain Vivi's kids at the end of the game.

1. Sonic and Princess Elise

In perhaps the most infamous scene in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise was seeing Sonic and a human kiss. Princess Elise kisses Sonic, allowing him to transform, and defeat Solaris. Sonic may have saved the world but lots of gamers cannot look at him the same way again.
