If you are just starting out in Valkyrie Elysium, there are many small tricks that can make your journey easier. From finding items to understanding how the game scores your play, knowing these details helps you plan your upgrades and battles.

Finding Items and Gems
If you need more healing items or magic drinks, you should play the task called Mother's Ring. This mission has about eight chests filled with elixirs.
If you are looking for items to fix your soul gauge, try Midgardian Studies 2, which has five chests with various drinks in VALKYRIE ELYSIUM.
For those who want to finish their final weapon upgrades, An Imprisoned Soul 1 is very helpful. It is the first task that gives you Black and Rainbow Gems. You can actually get these gems much earlier than the main story would normally allow.
Increasing Weapon Skill
To get better with your weapons, you should play An Imprisoned Soul 1 and 2. These tasks are great because they have lots of enemies and very short talking scenes.

Every hit you land gives you points toward your weapon skill. Using strong attacks is often the fastest way to gain points, but using different combos is more fun in VALKYRIE ELYSIUM.
Using Special Moves
It's possible for many enemies to be hit at once by the spell Nibelung Valesti. But be careful, because it starts with a dash. The spell will not work if the first dash does not hit an enemy. You will lose magic points.
When you cast spells or use a Soul Strike, you cannot be hurt for a few seconds. This is a great way to avoid big attacks that you cannot block. Use these moments to stay safe when a boss is about to hit you.

Understanding Your Score
At the end of every mission, the game gives you a score based on how you played. You start with a high time score that slowly goes down as you play in VALKYRIE ELYSIUM.
You lose points if you use items, take damage, or die. Dying costs many more points than using a healing item, so it is better to use a potion than to fall in battle.
You can gain extra points by doing certain things. You get points for every spell you cast and every time you call an ally for help.
You also get points for dodging or blocking at the right time. Your total score determines your grade, like S or A. Getting an S usually requires a score of over 30,000 points in VALKYRIE ELYSIUM.
