Every new day brings us closer to Fallout 4. Since its reveal at E3 Fallout 4 has quickly become on the of the most anticipated games of 2015. No more rumors or speculations, Bethesda has been adamant in delivering us creditable information regarding the next installment in the Fallout series. 

Since we love all of you so much, but not as much as Fallout 4, we’ve decided to write a list of everything we know about the game.

General

- Work for Fallout 4 began when Fallout 3 launched.

- Todd Howard has yet to see everything in Fallout 4 due to its size.

- Fallout 4 has gone gold, the remaining time is being used to fix bugs and polish the game.

- Fallout 4 has a full weather system, including radiation storms.

- Players can call an aircraft called the Vertibird to carry them between locations.

- Mods will be made available for PC in 2016, followed by Xbox One. Bethesda has confirmed mod support for PlayStation 4 but no release window was given.

- Playing a modded version of the game will immediately cause the game to copy your save file so you can return to the original file.

- Xbox One and PS4 versions of Fallout 4 will run at 1080p and 30 frames per second. PC versions will not have these restrictions.

- Fallout 4 will include regular free updates that not only fixes but new features similar to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

- A Season Pass has been confirmed but what that curtails hasn't been revealed.

- Enemies now have fully animated attacks. For example the Deathclaw can pick up a player and slice rip a hole through their chest.

Story

- The game begins in the pre-apocalypse era, allowing players to see the world before the nuclear fallout. This was intended to showcase what the player’s character had lost before the Great War. This makes him or her one of the few characters that remember what the world was before the war.

- Players will reunite with their original Mister Handy robot Codsworth from before the Great War.

- Fallout 4 is set in Boston and the surrounding area. Players can visit familiar landmarks like the Paul Revere's Monument.

- The narrative has been constructed to allow multiple paths and outcomes, failing a quest doesn’t mean game over.

- Many play styles have been considered when developing Fallout 4, allowing players to choose from violent or non-lethal options.

- The Brotherhood of Steel will return and play a major role in the game’s story.

Protagonist

- You can fully customize your character. This includes face, gender, skin tone, hair and many other features.

- For the first time in Fallout history your character, both male and female, are fully voiced.

- You’re the sole survivor of Vault 111.

- You emerge from Vault 111 200 years after the Great War, but how you survived for so long has yet to be explained. Perhaps another Vault-Tec experiment?

- Players can enter romantic relationships with other characters.

Leveling

- Strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility and luck still play a critical role in determining your characters stats. (S.P.E.C.I.A.L.)

- Every new level gives you access to another perk.

- Perks are special abilities such as bloody mess and attack dog. Each one grants the player new abilities.

- Perks have multiple levels, the more you invest the better they become.

- Some actions require a perk to reach a certain level before gaining access to new skills.

- Fallout 4 has no level cap.

Pip-Boy

- The Pip-Boy once again serves as the menu interface and information center for the entire game.

- Players can find classic holotapes that can be inserted into the Pip-Boy. These range from audio diaries to classic games such as Missile Command and Donkey Kong: which are playable.

- A companion application, which will release when Fallout 4 come out, will allow players to use their mobile device to navigate the Pip-Boy’s interface.

Combat

- A new shooting system has been built to make Fallout 4 play more like a modern shooter: enlisting developers who worked for Bungie, best known for Halo and Destiny, and id Software, notoriously known for Doom and Quake.

- RPG element have been tailored to complement the new shooter system.

- V.A.T.S. will no longer pause the game, instead it’ll slow down gameplay.

- Critical shots are now based on a bar on the bottom of the screen.

- The mini-nuke weapon, “Fat-Man”, will return to Fallout 4.

Settlements

- Bethesda’s Radiant A.I. System will drive most of the activity happening in your settlements.

- Players can build and maintain multiple settlements, which requires aiding in the needs and safety of the citizens.

- Settlements can be attacked by raiders and bandits.

- Specific characters can join your settlement as recruits, others will come on their own.

- Caravans can be used to deliver supplies to each settlement using your Pip-Boy.

Companions

- Like Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas players will have access to companions throughout Fallout 4. So far Dogmeat,Codsworth, a man named Preston Garvery and a woman named Piper have been confirmed.

- Preston Garvery leads the Commonwealth Minutemen.

- Piper lives in the ruins of Fenway Park, now called Diamond City. Her little sister runs a newspaper called Public Occurrences.

- 12 companions will be made available in Fallout 4, but players can only time up with one at a time.

- Romance options are available among companions regardless of what gender your character is.

- Dogmeat can’t be killed in combat.

- Players can choose to forgo companions, Bethesda has even included specific perks that can only be activated by solo players.

Crafting

- A customizable power armor is available.

- Spaces you can build are limited.

- Buildings can be created, destroyed and decorated.

- Junk is used as crafting material for buildings, settlement items and weapon mods.

- The workshop allows players to craft and customize weapons. This includes muzzles, scopes, stocks, grips and much more.

- There are 50 base weapons in Fallout 4 and over 700 modifiers to choose from.

Fallout 4 is set to release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 10.
