You can get lost in Windrose and be very, very far away without a Fast Travel Bell. You can also travel back to your base immediately, without necessarily going through the conventional travel system. The technique is excellent when venturing through new islands and want to get home fast so as to unload your treasures.

This guide will help you discover how to unlock the correct recipe and configure your spawn point to be able to teleport back at a time when you need to.

Opening the Home Journey Recipe

In order to utilise this trick, you must first advance the main story. You are forced to pursue the primary mission and complete all the tasks in the first island. When you do so, you will have access to a new station. In this station, you are able to create certain items which results in a recipe known as Home Journey.

It is a special item which informs you that it will bring you back to your last Revival Point. You must prepare the supplies to create this item in case you have to carry it in your bag to use during emergencies.

Setting Your Spawn and Teleporting

You must have a Bed at your base, before the item works. You are to engage with your Bed in order to make it your spawn point. When you have set your home as your Revival Point you are free to go as far as you wish to other islands. You can return when you want to, just by clicking on the item Home Journey in your inventory.

The display will be switched, and it will take you immediately to your home base. This will enable you to avoid the long walk or sail back without consuming any of the fast travel resources.
