Ghost of Tsushima Is Getting Multiplayer For Free

In a shocking announcement, Sucker Punch confirmed a new multiplayer mode for Ghost of Tsushima called Legends. This mode will release this fall for the low price of free.

That's right, this entire multiplayer mode is available for free and will launch this fall. This campaign won't be linked to the main story and instead heavily focus on the mythology and Japanese folklore that gamers experienced in the core campaign.

2-4 players will be able to choose from 4 unique classes in story and survival missions. Each team will have to work together since each class has limited access to certain abilities, after all not everyone can be the Ghost.

We designed Legends to be an exclusively cooperative gameplay experience. You’ll be able to partner up with friends or via online matchmaking and play Legends in groups of 2-4 players. Each player can choose from one of four different character classes: the Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin. Each class has unique advantages and abilities that we’ll reveal in the future.

Ghost of Tsushima has become one of the best games this generation. Sucker Punch, known for Sly Cooper and inFamous, created an epic samurai journey. As players take control of Jin Sakai, a samurai warrior who must go against his core beliefs to save his people from the Mongols.

Ghost of Tsushima is now available for PS4.
