Halo Infinite was supposed to release in 2020 along with the Xbox Series X but was pushed back to an unknown date. Now it's set for a Fall 2021 release.
Because Halo Infinite in the Fall of 2021… is just the beginning of the adventure. I’ll be back at the end of the update for some closing thoughts, but now, Brian, take it away!
This is an entire year until the game launches from its original release. This is a massive pushback that has a lot of gamers speculating on the game's current state. The title has had a difficult development with multiple directors leaving the project. 343 did release new images of Spartan armor and weapon designs to showcase the game's development progression, most likely to highlight the game's visuals which was the main criticism when the demo went public.
Halo Infinite launches in Fall 2021 for Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
