Neil Druckmann Response to Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Cover Art

Eariler today Crystal Dynamics revealed that Rise of the Tomb Raider would release on the PS4 on October 11th as part of the series' 20th Anniversary. However the box art looks like another game that released last year, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

It's hard to ignore that both look a lot alike and Neil Druckmann, creative director and writer at Naughty Dog, took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the matter stating:

"First Melania Trump and now this ;)...(Excited to play Rise on my PS4)"

Seeing that a similar issue rose when Uncharted 4's trailer debut, when artwork from Assassin's Creed Black Flag was spotted; perhaps this is karma. Still its relieving to see a lighthearted approach to this, especially going as far to showcase interest in playing the game. Good for you Druckmann!

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Edition will launch for PS4 October 11th.
