Apprentice Level Spells

For the apprentice-level conjuration spells, Summon Ghost, Scamp, Skeleton, and Zombie, you will need to talk to Alberic Litte. He will be in the Chorrol Mages Guild. To find him, go to Northgate in Chorrol; the guild will be the second door on the right.

He is always there but won't always sell you spells, so wait until 9:00 a.m. Then he will be in the middle room, and you can purchase your spells there.

Journeyman Level Spells

The journeyman spells include Summon Dremora, Flame Atronach, Headless Zombie, and Skeleton Guardian. You can purchase them at the exact location — the Chorrol Mages Guild. This time, go to Athragar to buy the spells.

Expert Level Spells

These journeyman spells that you can buy are Summon Clannfear, Daedroth, Faded Wraith, Frost Atronach, Skeleton Champion, Skeleton Hero, and Spider Daedra. You can also get these from Athragar in the Chorrol Mages Guild.

Master Level Spells

The master-level spells Storm Atronach, Gloom Wraith, Lich, Dremora Lord, and Xivilai can be found at many different places or purchased from many different NPCS.

For the Dremora Lord, Fast Travel to Bruma, enter through the Northgate, and proceed into the first big building down the road — the Mages Guild. Speak to Volanaro to purchase this spell.

For the Storm Atronach, go to Skingrad inside the Mages Guild, and search for Vigge the Cautious. He will sell it to you.

You can purchase the Gloom Wraith, Lich, and Xivilai by joining the Mages Guild and getting recommendations from every guild hall throughout the game. This qualifies you for the Arcane University. Enter and locate the room where Borissean lives. Talk with him to buy these spells.

Shivering Isles Spells

In Oblivion Remastered, the Shivering Isles content is part of the base game. To begin, go to the Strange Door, slightly east of Bravil on a small island. This begins the Shivering Isles Quest.

Once within the Shivering Isles, take the main questline until you are released from your restraints and free to wander. Head east to Crucible town from the initial entry point. Enter into Els' Mysteries — a store offering seven summoning spells in one convenient location.

Other Spells

The final four spells of the Shivering Isles are Golden Saint, Dark Seducer, Flesh Atronach, and Summon Haskill.

Summon Haskill and Flesh Atronach are automatically unlocked if you have finished the questline of Shivering Isles.

Golden Saint and Dark Seducer are solo unlocks. When you are doing the Shivering Isles storyline, you will be forced to choose sides at some point. You will have to murder someone and steal their throne. You choose which of the two spells you will possess depending on your decision.
