Daedric weapons rank among the most formidable and peculiar armaments available in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Each of these unique weapons has effects that were given to it by the Daedric Princes. These effects can launch enemies into the air, call in powerful friends, or even change reality in strange ways.
To get these legendary weapons, you have to complete shrine quests that are specific to a different Daedric god. This guide lists the seven most amazing Daedric weapons, what they can do, and the exact steps you need to take to get them. With these weapons, every task becomes an unforgettable adventure.

Wabbajack
The Wabbajack is an unpredictable staff bestowed by Sheogorath, capable of transforming any non-NPC target into a random creature. Casting this staff upon foes may turn them into harmless sheep, fearsome trolls, or other unexpected beings, often to the bewilderment of onlookers. To acquire the Wabbajack, travel north of Leyawiin to Sheogorath's Shrine.
Interaction with the shrine initiates the quest "Shrine of Sheogorath," which directs the Hero to Border Watch just south of the shrine. There, three tasks must be completed: unleashing a plague of rats, poisoning a flock of sheep, and summoning flaming dogs to rain from the sky. Succeeding in these challenges yields the Wabbajack as a reward.
Mehrunes' Razor
The Mehrunes' Razor is a one-handed dagger of devastating potential, often slaying foes in a single strike due to its combination of banishment and armor-disintegration enchantments. To claim this weapon, seek out Mehrunes Dagon's Shrine on the eastern fringes of Cyrodiil.
Reading the small diary beside the sealed door at Sundercliff Watch reveals the password required for entry. You need to finish the "Mehrunes' Razor" quest, which takes you deep into this huge underground city. This dungeon's depth and complexity show how ambitious the people who made it were. The Hero's prize is this legendary dagger.
Volendrung
The Volendrung is a colossal Dwemer Warhammer enchanted with a powerful paralysis effect, unique among blunt weapons. On strike, it paralyzes enemies for three seconds and drains five points of health per hit for twenty seconds. To retrieve Volendrung, visit Malacath's Shrine, located west of the Imperial City.

Accepting the shrine's quest leads the Hero to Lord Drad's estate, where imprisoned trolls labour within Bleak Mine. Free these trolls—either stealthily acquiring the cage key or confronting the guards directly—and return to the shrine to receive Volendrung as a symbol of gratitude.
Ebony Blade
Forged for treachery and assassination, the Ebony Blade absorbs health with each strike and silences enemies for ten seconds. This weapon is granted by Mephala to any Hero of at least level 15 who offers Nightshade at her shrine between midnight and 6:00 a.m.
The quest "Whodunit" tasks the Hero with infiltrating Bravil's Bujold's Way and Brena's Way—two rival families—and framing each head for the other's murder by planting signature items. Successfully orchestrating this deception convinces the townsfolk of the families' mutual betrayal, earning the Ebony Blade.
Sanguine Rose
The Sanguine Rose is an unpredictable staff that summons a random Daedra ally upon striking a target, from a Flame Atronach to an Ice Atronach. To obtain this staff, journey north of Chorrol to Sanguine's Shrine with a bottle of Brandy in the inventory.
The ensuing quest leads to a clandestine dinner gathering in Leyawiin. Casting the unique spell granted for the occasion—"Stark Reality"—strips all guests of their attire, creating delightful chaos. Completing this mischievous task rewards the Sanguine Rose, allowing the wielder to conjure a Daedric friend at a distance.

Mehrunes' Flail
The Mehrunes' Flail excels at crowd control, wielding shock effects that stagger and damage multiple foes. This weapon is acquired by aiding Mehrunes Dagon's cultists in Anvil during the "Bones of the Baron" quest chain.
Recover lost bones, pacify restless spirits, and deliver them to the temple. In gratitude, Mehrunes Dagon blesses the Hero with this devastating flail.
Mace of Molag Bal
The Mace of Molag Bal drains stamina and magicka while corrupting the victim's essence. To earn this dark instrument, the Hero must serve as Molag Bal's champion in the "Servant of Molag Bal" quest.
Found at Molag Bal's Shrine in the mountains near Bruma, the shrine sends the Hero into Coldharbour to rescue the god's artifact from a daedric trap. Overcoming powerful guardians returns the Mace of Molag Bal to the Hero's grasp.

Each of these Daedric weapons embodies the power and caprice of the Daedric Princes. Brave Heroes who undertake the trials of these shrine quests emerge not only with legendary armaments but also with tales worthy of the annals of Tamriel.
