Bethesda revealed a bunch of new information about the future of Doom, specifically this weekend. Expect a new patch, content, and a double experience weekend.

Tomorrow, July 29th update 2 will go live and with it two new multiplayer modes: Exodus, a one-flag capture-the-flag mode with moving bases and Sector, an objective-based capture-and-hold mode.

New additions are also coming to SnapMap. These include customizable weapon wheel functionality, jump pads that can be altered in distance, speed, and direction, and 30 Hell-themed modules.

Joining the demon roster is the Mancubus, a new playable demon.

The first DLC pack, Unto the Evil, will release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC next week on August 5th and include:

Three new maps: Offering, Cataclysm, and Ritual

A new player-controlled demon: Harvester

A new weapon: UAC EMG Pistol

New equipment: Kinetic Mine

New ways to customize your Marine, including additional armor sets, patterns, colors, and taunts

New hack modules

Doom is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. If you need a boost in multiplayer Bethesda is starting a double experience weekend tomorrow until Monday, August 1st.
