Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Dev Addresses Loot Box Concerns in Beta

One of the biggest stories to come out of the Star Wars: Battlefront 2's beta is the gameplay or characters, but the loot boxes. This issue has become a plague among gamers who purchase full-price AAA games and now the most vocal complaints comes from how the game handles their loot boxes which feel more like pay-to-win.

In an attempt to dampen the fire EA attempted to justify the new system, and according to DICE, the complete progression system wasn't active in the beta. So it's safe to say that changes will be made before the game launches.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 releases November 17, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
