Capcom has been re-releasing all the Resident Evil games on the Nintendo Switch with Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 joining the system's library this October.

On October 29th both titles will be released with all previously released DLC for $29.99 each on the eShop. This makes every mainline Resident Evil games outside of RE2, RE3, and RE: Code Veronica available on the Switch.
In addition, players can also purchase the triple-edition that includes Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 but the retail version will only include the 4th game on the cartridge, with the other 2 being digital downloads.

Resident Evil 4 has players taking control of Leon Kennedy. Trained and employed by the US Government, he is tasked with rescuing the President's daughter after she was kidnapped and taken to a secuded area in Europe.
Resident Evil 5 takes place after the events of RE4 and has players in control of Chris Redfield during a mission in Africa. He is joined with a new partner named Sheva Alomar to investigate a growing concern of infection in the area.
Resident Evil 6 has the player taking control of multiple characters within the Resident Evil universe to stop a global pandemic that has most of the world infected with a new virus. This includes Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and Sherry Birkin. Along with new characters such as Albert Wesker's son.
