NieR: Automata is getting an tie-in novel, NieR Automata: YoRHa Boys

NieR: Automata is one of my favorite games this generation and those wondering about the events piror to the game can read all about them in the prequel novel NieR: YoRHa Boys.

The novel is being written by Jun Eishima and supervised by Yoko Taro. NieR Automata: YoRHa Boys serves as a prequel to the critically acclaimed game. Square Enix teased that the novel’s story “focuses on the story of YoRHa Experimental Unit M, a squadron composed of YoRHa male type models established for the purpose of collecting a full range of behavioral data.”

Considering the massive success of NieR: Automata Square Enix could be reviving the series beyond video games. Deciding to include other things such as films and books. Which I'm all for.

NieR: Automata is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
