It seems those images of the PS5 development kits have been confirmed. With the consoles showing up on Twitter.

So first, these are not the final version of the actual consumer console. As stated by Senior Editor at The Verge, Tom Warren, the PS5 dev kits were developed to ensure that multiple systems can be stacked on top of one another. Allowing the heat to transfer efficently through the vents on top through the V-shape.

It also confirms that developers are working on next-generation games that could be seen at E3 2020. Or earlier depending on leaks.
