Expedition 33: Clair Obscur Guide | Blue Mushrooms Location for Karatom Gestral

If you go past the Bazaar in Gestral Village and find the little guy waiting there, talk to him. He’s going to ask you to get some mushroom spores of the blue kind.

You will first need to finish the Gestral Village section, including completing the arena fights, and then move on to the next area, where you’ll meet Esquie.

Finding the Blue Mushrooms

Go east of Gestral Village and enter Esquie’s nest. Inside, talk to the gatekeeper. Once you get past him, go through the little cave until you reach a rock bridge. On both sides of this bridge, there is water below. You can actually jump off this bridge and jump to the right.

There is a way to get back, so don’t worry. Your goal is to reach the mushrooms that grow there. The item you find will be the blue mushroom that the little guy asked for. Along the way, you might also see a mime enemy. Defeat him to get some really cool outfits.

Returning the Mushroom

Once you have the blue mushroom, it’s time to go back to the village. If you’re like many players, you may have forgotten where the quest giver is. From the entrance of Gestral Village, go left past the chief’s house and continue through the bazaar. On your left, you’ll find the little guy you need to return the mushroom to.

He will then have you fight a new mini-boss, which isn’t that difficult to defeat.

Quest Rewards

After defeating the mini-boss, you’ll be rewarded with a couple of useful items and a new outfit for Gustave. That’s it for the mushroom quest in Gestral Village and all the locations you need to visit.
