Christian Streamer Suspended For Telling Kid They're Going To Hell
Streaming platform Twitch banned a person by the handle of Dr Witnesser.

People get banned for all sorts of reasons from games and streaming services. The following example might just be one of the most left field things you'll read. Today, streaming platform Twitch banned a person by the handle of Dr Witnesser. It's a bad time out there for self-proclaimed doctors at the moment.
What's peculiar about this case is that the thing this streamer does is to go into squad play on Fortnite as a solo player, filling up a random team. While that's not out of the ordinary, since Fortnite has teams of up to four players that often get assorted randomly, it's what this person does that's out of the ordinary. While in the random team, this streamer tries to spread Christianity to children, in a rather forceful manner. Whether the children want to hear it or not, Dr Witnesser will use the game's voice chat, usually used for calling out enemies and strategies, to instead perform this act of digital missionary work. In one clip, the streamer can be heard telling a child that they'll go to hell for believing in the wrong faith:
Omg and this is only part of what he's saying to children and also those of other faiths @Twitch @TwitchSupport preaching to a Muslim child about Christian faith there needs to be a boundary here set by twitch if you are hosting him pic.twitter.com/IgEOfA7VpY

After the ban, which currently suspends the channel for 7 days, Dr Witnesser took to social media to threaten Twitch. The streamer touts their follower count elsewhere to pressure the platform, claiming they're being silenced. Meanwhile, the reason for their suspension mentions repeated or severe personal abuse.
I'm literally 2 seconds away from Posting to my 251,000 followers on #TikTok that @Twitch @TwitchSupport bans #Christian twitch streamers for talking about what the Bible says on live stream. Are you part of the #CancelChristianity culture now #Twitch? pic.twitter.com/dTSI7ywUFI

Freedom of religion is an important right we all should possess. As such, the nature of being faithful and being a gamer isn't inherently a bad thing. Pushing that belief, or any belief for that matter, is essentially where you should draw the line, particularly on unsuspecting players. If anything, it's not exactly a very Christian mentality to berate children, even when using seemingly polite words to do so. Threatening others is even further down that line of being inappropriate. You don't need to be a Christian to understand the basic concept of turning the other cheek as a person of faith.
