Crush Zombies With Heavy Metal In Double Kick Heroes
Double Kick Heroes is a mixture of rhythm game and shoot 'em up.

Many games throw players in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, however, not that many have them using heavy metal (and a gun-equipped car) as their weapon of choice. Enter Double Kick Heroes. A mixture of rhythm game and shoot 'em up, it tells the story of five metalheads attemtping to survive the zombie apocalypse by way of their shredding skills and Gundillac, an upgradable weapon on wheels. If you've ever needed a reason to treat your keyboard as you would a drum kit, well, Double Kick Heroes might just be one.
Developed by French studio Headbang Club, Double Kick Heroes will launch on Steam Early Access on April 11th, 2018. The initial version will come with 18 of the planned 30 metal tracks, by composer Elmobo, as well as an Arcade and Story mode. An editor which will allow for importing other tracks will be made available further down the line, in case you'd rather blow zombies up while listening to Mozart. Have a look at the game's announcement trailer for a first taste of what to expect.
