Days Gone Director Leaves Studio
Bend Studio loses a major figure

Days Gone was one of the more lukewarm exclusives on the PS4. The game received mediocre to positive reviews with many praising the titles complex characters and Freaker Virus but noted the game's many serious technical problems at launch. The game is in a better state now and delivers a solid zombie-like experience with dark themes. However, the director of the title has left the studio.

Jeff Ross who led the project announced he left the studio. That's not all as one of the writers of the title also left the studio. John Garvin announced he left the studio after the game shipped but didn't say anything.
Since Days Gone is left on a cliffhanger we'll have to see how the title's future game will progress. Currently, we have no news if a new title was greenlit or any information about a future game.
Days Gone is now available for PS4 and PS5.
