Good news for Divinity: Original Sin 2 ahead of it's September release.

In their latest Kickstarter Update, Larian Studios have revealed they've changed their minds regarding Divinity: Original Sin 2 being fully voiced. Initially, this was deemed impossible (at least for the initial release), due to the sheer amount of words. Six different origin stories, voices for both male and female characters, some one thousand NPCs, it did look like a pretty large undertaking. That is no longer the case, as with the help of four recording studios, it looks like the sequel to Divinity: Original Sin will, after all, be fully voiced.

Furthermore, Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be the first game in the studio's history to benefit from a soundtrack that's fully recorded live. The collector's edition for the game will be unveiled next week. Have a look at the Kickstarter update video. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is currently in Early Access and set to release on the 14th of September on PC. Xbox One and PS4 versions will arrive at a later date.
