Like Cyberpunk 2077, Techland revealed new footage for Dying Light 2 behind closed doors. We were able to see the footage and blown away from how the game combines branching story paths similar to titles like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Now, gamers can check out the closed-door presentation on August 26th.
The news was confirmed during an official press release from Techland.
We have just announced (Twitter, Facebook) the previously unseen Dying Light 2 extended gameplay footage is going to be publicly released on August 26 at 11am PDT/8pm CEST. It is the largest piece of Dying Light 2 gameplay released to date.
The demo consisted of a short mission involving regaining control over the water supply. With the player making a critical choice that will lead to a shift in power and possible exposure of a new area.
Dying Light 2 has players surviving in the "Modern Dark Ages". The infection has taken out most of the human population and those who did survive fight over territory and basic supplies. The infected have gotten more dangerous since humanity lost 15 years ago the virus has mutated those infected even further. Into more powerful variants.
Dying Light 2 is set to launch in the first half of 2020 and will arrive on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It'll also release for next-generation consoles such as the Xbox Scarlett.
