The year is 2040 and the Earth has been overcome by mutated dinosaurs in Capcom's new game Exoprimal.
In Exoprimal two teams of five compete to accomplish a series of missions, while also fighting to survive a deadly swarm of long-extinct reptiles. First revealed in March 2022, Exoprimal is an online PvP and PvE action game focused on team-based combat. The dinosaurs themselves appear to function as a horde-like enemy with different species forcing players to constantly adjust their gameplay. Humanity has built exo-suits to compact the prehistoric threat, and players can equip Rigs on top of their role-based core loadout to enhance their abilities.
As for the dinosaurs themselves, players can expect to go up against charging Pachycephalosaurus, swarming Raptors, flying Pteranodons, bludgeoning Ankylosaurus, tough Triceratops, and large Tyrannosaurus Rexes. That's not all though, as the journey through time has mutated some of these dinosaurs beyond recognition, empowering them with elemental abilities. These 'Neosaurs' include Pyro Pteranodons soaring across the sky and dropping flaming projectiles from above, pustulating Gas Neosaurs that make a beeline to the nearest unfortunate player, and the towering, terrifying Neo T.Rex. A threat so large the two warring factions must work together to take it down.
Exoprimal releases in 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Steam.
