Final Fantasy Agito+ Canceled

Square Enix has canceled the Vita version of Final Fantasy Agito+, a port of the already released mobile game in Japan.

Set in the universe of Final Fantasy Type-0 this entry in the Fabula Nova Crystallis subseries was to feature turned-base combat and a multiplayer. Telling an alternate cycle from the one in Type-0 players play through the eyes of a custom created Cadet entering the Rubrum Magical Academy during a war.   The player is chosen to become Agito, a figure destined to save Orience from destruction, and must travel the world and fulfill their destiny.

Perhaps this is for the best, after all Type-0 was a wonderful game with one of the best Final Fantasy combat systems. To downgrade the active combat system to a turned based one was a massive step backwards.
