First Beta Test for Street Fighter V Stopped Due to Technical Issues
Street Fighter V Beta halted due to technical issues

The beta for Street Fighter V has ceased until all the issues have been fully fixed.
Last week the beta for Street Fighter V went live and immediately started having problems. Participants reported network issues forcing Capcom to pull the plug and make an official announcement on Capcom Unity.
“Capcom offers its sincerest apologies to everyone who participated in this first beta test…While the purpose of a beta is to work out these type of issues, it was very clear that the issues we faced were more severe than we were prepared for.”
Capcom has announced that three branches of beta testing would become available for the fighting game and have confirmed that due to the issues of this first tier won’t count as one of the three. Instead those who pre-ordered the game will gain an extra chance to beta test Street Fighter V.
Street Fighter V is set to release on PS4 and PC in March 2016. On the bright side it’s great that Capcom caught this early, we don’t want another repeat of what happened when Battlefield 4, Halo: The Master Chief Collection or Grand Theft Auto Online was released.
