Telltale Games shutdown was one of the most infamous stories this year. The business that brought so many acclaimed narrative titles closed its doors in September but not without leaving their employees jobless within minutes of the news, without health insurance, and severance. Many developers joined in the campaign to employ those affected with mixers and references to some avail. Today, one of the lead writers expressed her joy on Twitter to reveal she has joined Insomniac Games.

Insomniac Games,NoobFeed,

I am over-the-moon thrilled to tell y’all that I’m joining @insomniacgames in the New Year 😊🎮

— Mary Kenney (@maryknews) December 15, 2018

Mary Kenney started at Telltale Games in June 2017, months before its closure, and was appointed as lead writer for The Walking Dead: The Final Season which has been taken over by Robert Kirkman's Skybound with some of the old Telltale staff trying to finish up the season. Kenney has also worked for The New York Times and Kotaku.

If you're an employer and looking for great employees there are still a lot of Telltale staff members looking for work.

Hey so, in case you’ve forgotten, a lot of former Telltale employees still need jobs. Keep reaching out, keep sharing #TelltaleJobs, keep prioritizing taking them through the system quickly. Thank you 💖
