Life is Strange is one of the most beloved narrative games available. The third game in the series has been confirmed as Life is Strange: True Colors with a new protagonist, powers, and most importantly will launch complete on day 1.

Life is Strange True Colors,NoobFeed,

Unlike previous seasons Dontnod and Square Enix are ditching the episodic formula to release the entire game on September 10th for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Stadia. This will allow players to experience the entirety of the narrative but on the downside will reduce the tension between acts previously broken up by episodes. Regardless, fans are happy about this change.

The game will star Alex Chen with the power of empathy. She has the ability to feel and even manipulate a person's feelings which are displayed in a blaze of colors but overuse can overwhelm her. Granted it's not as powerful as Max's time abilities or Daniels TK but we'll have to see how Dontnod handles these powers. My guess is that overuse can cripple a person mentally if overused. Hopefully, Dontnod will finally explain how these powers manifest into these people instead of keeping it a cryptic enigma.

The game will launch with an Ultimate Edition that includes the original Life is Strange and Deck9's Before the Storm starring Chloe Price before the original game. A special Steph chapter will be exclusive to Deluxe and Ultimate Editions similar to the prequel starring Chloe and Max in Before the Storm.

Life is Strange: True Colors launches on September 10th for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
