Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer will be free and all future maps will be as well.
Mass Effect 3 featured multiplayer updates such as new maps, difficulty options, and new characters and weapons. Everything had to be unlocked through random loot boxes, which could be purchased or earned. How this system will fit into Andromeda is yet to be seen but we can expect an experience system most likely.
BioWare's General Manager, Aaron Flynn, has been teasing information regarding the multiplayer of Andromeda but no full video has been released. With the game 2 weeks away we can expect one of the videos the team has been releasing detailing the game will feature multiplayer.
Mass Effect: Andromeda launches on March 21st for Xbox One, PS4, and Origin PC. Those with Origin or EA access will gain access to 10 hours of single-player content one week before the game launches.
