Metal Gear Solid V Sells Big

In the latest report from Konami detailing their Q1 2016 fiscal report the company states that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has reached 49.2 million sales worldwide as of March 31, 2016.

This isn't a surprise seeing that the game has received massive praise from critics and gamers for being one of the best in the franchise. Despite the game feeling unfinished Metal Gear Solid V went on to receive near-perfect scores across multiple sites.

Konami has reported a $481 million in revenue, which is a 3.5% decline year-over-year. Company profit was $89 million.
