NieR: Automata Passes 4 Million Sales

NieR: Automata has been one of the best games to release this generation. Debuting on the PS4 and PC the game eventually came to the Xbox One and now the GOTY edition recently released on PS4. Now, it has been confirmed that this masterpiece has sold over 4 million copies.

NieR: Automata takes place in the future where humanity has been forced off Earth following an alien invasion. Androids have been constructed and tasks with taking back the planet from the aliens and their machine slaves. Players take control of 2B and 9S, androids fighting in this war and revealing that things are not what they seem.

The title has been praised for tackling intensity difficulty issues such as purpose, consciousness, and identity in various ways. Complementing these difficult themes is an incredibly detailed world, beautiful music, and memorable characters.

NieR: Automata is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
