It can feel slow to level up in NieR: Automata, especially as tougher adversaries start to show up. This guide shows you a quick and easy way to get XP by waking up the Amusement Park Rabbit (also known as the Golden Rabbit) and then hacking it for a lot of XP. It's easy to set up, and the loop becomes quicker as you level up.
Why The Amusement Park Rabbit XP Farm Is So Good
The Amusement Park Rabbit is a statue at first, but you can wake it up in Amusement Park. It becomes easy to hack after it is turned on with 9S. Every time you hack something successfully, you get XP. If you do this repeatedly, you can level up quickly.
What You Need Before Starting
This method is meant for Route B, because hacking and control tools are tied to 9S. Open the Plug-in Chips menu and make sure a Combust Chip is equipped. The chip level does not matter, so even a low-level Combust Chip works.
How To Wake The Amusement Park Rabbit Statue
Head to the Amusement Park entrance area where the statue sits in the central plaza. Look for a nearby flying machine, usually a Small Flyer (Park), and approach from behind. Use a stealth hack so the extra options appear after the hack completes.
After the hack, choose Remote Control. This lets the hacked Small Flyer (Park) act as the body that does the positioning work.
Position The Statue Near The Two Machines
While controlling the flying machine, push the statue into place. The goal is to nudge the Amusement Park Rabbit toward the two Machine Lifeforms standing near the tree with the balloons. Movement speed can make the push feel a little finicky, so keep the statue close and adjust slowly until it lines up well.
Detonate To Trigger The Wake-Up
Once the statue is positioned, move behind the tree, stay fairly close, and use Detonate. When the detonation is done correctly, the statue wakes up. At that point, the Amusement Park Rabbit becomes active and can be hacked for XP farming.
Hack The Amusement Park Rabbit For Fast XP
Once the statue is awake, hit it with 9S repeatedly. The loop is simple, and as you go up in levels, the tempo gets faster because higher levels speed up the whole thing. In practice, this strategy can get you to numerous levels in a short amount of time, especially in the middle level ranges.
How To Reset The Farm And Repeat
To run it again, use a save point and reload the area. Saving and loading refreshes the setup, allowing the statue to be awakened again. Keep the Combust Chip equipped, repeat the stealth hack on the Small Flyer (Park), and run the same positioning and detonation sequence.
Extra Tips To Make The Grind Smoother
Before you start pushing the statue, make sure to get rid of any foes around. This will keep the plaza tranquil. Being patient during the push step also helps, because minor changes in angle are more important than speed. Once the statue wakes consistently, the hack portion becomes the easy part, and the entire XP farm starts to feel very fast.
