Scarlet Nexus Announced for Xbox Series X from Bandai Namco

During the Xbox Series X reveal Bandai Namco's next project, Scarlet Nexus, was shown. With the title combining elements from God Eater and Astral Chain.

The title is set in a dystopian future where a hormone granting psychic abilities was discovered. During this time a new mutant called Others started to appear and attacking. Immune to conventional weapons these creatures attack living beings without mercy. Humanity's other chance is psychic warriors called the Other Suppression Force who are trained to kill these creatures using their powers.

Players will take control of Yuito Sumeragi, a recruit in the OSF attempting to climb the ranks and become an elite agent.

This is a brand new IP from Bandai Namco and looks a lot like God Eater meets Astral Chain. 

Scarlet Nexus is in development for next-generation consoles.
