Steam Demo For Grounded Out Now

Grounded from Obsidian Entertainment, developers of The Outer Worlds, now has a demo that is live and accessible on Steam. The demo is available to everyone registered with Xbox Insider, but it's also live on Steam as part of the Steam Game Festival. 

The demo for Grounded is approximately 30 minutes long. It delivers a small slice of single player experience that will go some way to covering how the game will play when it finally launches. It may not be exactly what you'd expect from Obsidian Entertainment though. 

Grounded is an MMORPG. The player's character has been shrunk down to a size much smaller than an ant, and plonked into someone's garden. From here they must traverse the various obstacles and dangers that wouldn't bother a normal sied human being. The game allows for up to four players to work together, surviving against the odds, and even crafting their own base.

Grounded will launch with Xbox Game Preview, through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, on July 28. If you enjoy the demo, it's definitely worth picking up Xbox Game Pass Ultimate just to get in on the game from day one.
