Twisted Metal Creator Talks About the Future of Bartlet Jones After Recent Layoffs

Yesterday news regarding The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, the studio led by the creator of the Twisted Metal and God of War series David Jaffe, had to lay off a majority of its staff after the cancellation of the team’s next project.

As of now Jaffe spoke about the current situation of Bartlet Jones, who now employs 7 people instead of 24. Jaffe stated the following on Twitter:

Wanted y'all2hear it from me before anyone else:we've had a project canceled and have been forced2lay off the vast majority of the Bartlet Jones staff gaming division. More news2come but for now, that's what's up.Heart's breaking4the amazingly talented crew that's out of work :(.

Recently, Jaffe did speak about the future of the Twisted Metal franchise. Stating if a new game was happening he's not aware of it.
