Xbox Games on Demand
News by Kris on Jun 01, 2009
Not announced at today's Microsoft E3 Press Conference yet still big news, it was revealed post-conference that Xbox 360 will now be getting a new servise. The new Games on Demand service will allow gamers to download full retail games. There are around 30 games that will be available at launch, which is scheduled for August.
It is not clear as to what games will be hitting the Games of Demand at launch. There were games available for demo which some are as follows: Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Oblivion, Bioshock. It has not been said as to if Microsoft plans to expand on the list of games after launch or if games will launch on Games on Demand at the same time they do in retail stores. Apparently prices are going to be the same as their retail counterparts. Some of the best news for people who are not fans of the Microsoft Points system is that you can use a credit card to purchase these games.
Once again the game is expected to release this August. We will keep you posted on new information when it comes in on Games on Demand.
