James Bond 007 - Blood Stone

It was one of my most anticipated games since the original James Bond game was one of my favorites of all time. And, I must say I wasn't expecting the Blood Stone to be fairly good. I was wrong. The game is pretty intense and the story is good. Even though at time I felt like I wasn't heading at the right direction and the story is going no where, it eventually ended up pretty good. So here's my usual way to tell about the game.

The Good:

- Shooting is fun. A lot similar to Splinter Cell Conviction. Specialy when it comes to hand to hand moves. Which also gives skill points by using them you can take down enemy with on shot.

- Graphics is good. Very good if I must add. When I was first put into the open world for a boat chase, I was literally lost with the graphics detail.

- Beside shooting, you get to do a lot of drivings too. Which are not just usual driving line NFS. It's chasing and catching up the bad guy where so many other cars are there to stop you. Even choppers too.

- There are variety of guns which are fun for shooting. All the guns are modern age, so they are pretty handy too.

- AI soldiers are not dumb. Their timing to attack and shoot you as a team is good. Makes the situation very difficult for you at times.

- There are bunch of unlockables for you to try.

The Bad:

- Characterization isn't as improved as the environment.

- Movement lacks proper smoothness. Specially when running towards a place and taking cover.

- You can't carry much ammo and carrying guns are very limited too. This is probably for the hardest difficulty mode, as I didn't try the easy.

- The game doesn't allow you to jump using the space button. For all sort of actions like jump, climb, leap and even hand to hand combats are done using one single button. Which is pretty amateur.

- Using the smart phone tell the exact location of the enemy, which makes the game a piece of cake.

- And finally, THERE IS NO SEX SCENE IN A BOND GAME!

According to my Xfire, the game took me only 8 hours to finish, which make it pretty small. In the end of the game, there is a message for the upcoming 007 game called Return of the Bond. Not sure when it'll be released though. Anyway, here are some nice screenshots if you are interested to download them.
