The open beta for H1Z1 started its open beta on the PS4 today. Despite the game's dwindling player count in PC the beta reached 200,000 concurrent players on the PS4.

The numbers are that more significant since the PC version of the game managed 150,000 concurrent players. Considering that H1Z1 lost a significant amount of players after attempting to set up its own eSports league the battle royale may find itself bouncing back in the PS4.

The high traffic did lead to several issues. The most notorious being separation from party members along with high wait times, and being unable to log in.

This is a beta so troubles should be expected.

H1Z1: Battle Royale is now available on PS4 in open beta for free.
