A Good Way to Start Off March Break

Well it is called march break here in the great white north. Maybe in America, Europe, Asia, anywhere else it is called spring break, maybe not. Anyway this week I get a week off school. Well that is a celebration in its own. Isn't it?

Well this outa make it better.

The big one is the Championship team trophy, the small-ish one beside it is trophy each player got, i just got to keep the team one for now.

the ornage and black one is my MVP medal from our third tournament game.

 

We won the tournament to say the least. It was close games for the most part. The first one was won 1-0 by us. We did not play that great but our goalie kept us in there. The second game was won by us 4-2. We were up by one, then they tied it up, then 2-1, 3-1, then 4-1. Then they got a goal iwth 4 seconds left and made it 4-2. We were in first in the tourney with 10 points. It is a point a period and 3 for winning the game, we got 5 from each game. Then the next day we had another 2 games. We played a weak team, We won 6-0 and got all 6 points out of the game. We stayed in our positon at 1st and had 16 points. We played later that night. We lost that game and played terrible. I have a story about the team we played.

 

It all started last year. There was a kid on the team i was on last year who moved. So we were talking one day and he asked what we were doing on march break. I told him we were trying to get into a tournament. he said it was funny that i asked that because his team happened to be hosting one. So our coaches talked and we got in.

 

Anyway, back to the games. So we lost that game ans got 1 point. This put us at first with 17, so there were 2 teams that could pass us and it was a whole bunch of things that could happen. Anyway though the two teams that were playing and the setups pretty much guarenteed we would still get in. So we made it to the finals. (it was a small tourney, only 6 teams, top 2 went right to the finals) we played the same team that we beat in our first game. It was a close game the whole time. We were up 2-0 in the second, then they scored. This made is 2-1. We continued our tough play and neither team scored. Then it happened. With 6.3 seconds left they had their goalie pulled and the extra man on the ice. THEY SCORED. Dammit. We ate the puck and let the time run out. It was going into overtime.

 

We are in overtime now. We played the whole overtime strong until there was 7 seconds left. WE SCORED!!. Well actually we shot it at the net and it hit one their players stick and went in. Anyway we had won the touney. Ya, it was a great weekend, and a great start to the break.

 

Also we went out for dinner and got some digits from a very attractive waitress. BONUS.
