Absolum Guide | Best Cider Build

In Absolum, Cider's main strategy for playing is to keep control of the air and deal skill-based damage all the time. This build is all about staying in the air while using your speed, dashes, and skills to their fullest. 

You can get the most out of your time in the air and your fighting skills by combining the right Arcana, Inspirations, Rituals, and Trinkets.

Build Overview

Your entire setup should focus on staying off the ground for as long as possible while dealing damage through Skills. Cider’s Rising Drill Arcana, combined with mobility-based Inspirations and elemental Rituals, ensures you can move between targets efficiently while applying continuous effects.

Arcana

Equip Rising Drill, which allows you to spin upward, lifting nearby enemies into the air. This Arcana is straightforward and provides good control, as you can use it both for offense and repositioning. After jumping, you can also perform a downward drill attack to extend your combo while maintaining momentum in the air.

Inspirations

Use Pneumatic Heels, Slice and Dice, and Magnetic Jump.

Pneumatic Heels grants an additional Dash and lets you perform Dashes mid-air, giving you more aerial freedom. Slice and Dice, unlocked from Ederig the Stalwart, lets you deal damage to enemies each time you Dash through them. 

To optimize its effect, combine it with the Dry Hand Charm and position yourself behind enemies whenever possible. Magnetic Jump allows you to stay airborne for longer and perform a special diving blade attack from above, which works well with this build’s focus on vertical movement and control.

Rituals

Equip Lightning Skill, Burning Skill, and Blazing Dash.

Since Cider uses her mechanical arm to pull herself upward, both Lightning Skill and Burning Skill enhance her attacks by adding extra elemental effects. 

Lightning Skill increases Static Charge by 20%, triggering Chain Lightning, while Burning Skill applies Burn over time. 

Blazing Dash complements your frequent use of Dashes by creating a fiery trail along the ground each time you move, adding another source of consistent damage.

Trinkets

For Trinkets, use Feather Charm, Dry Hand Charm, and Winged Boots.

Feather Charm increases your aerial attack damage by 20%. Since it’s a Common Trinket, stacking multiple copies can further enhance your output while airborne. 

Dry Hand Charm boosts damage dealt from behind by 50%, which stacks well with the effects of Slice and Dice. Lastly, Winged Boots provide unlimited Dashes for five seconds after performing an Arcana, allowing you to chain Blazing Dash effects continuously and stay mobile throughout combat.

With this build, you’ll maintain steady control over Cider’s aerial movement while applying layered effects through Skills, Dashes, and positioning. Each component works together to sustain air time and enhance your offensive potential during every encounter.
