Absolum Guide | Best Brome Build

In Absolum, Brome performs best when you focus on a setup built around his Inspiration Drill Rush. This ability allows you to move quickly through the battlefield while delivering high-impact attacks. 

The overall structure of this build emphasizes maintaining momentum, maximizing mana recovery, and increasing the efficiency of your combo meter to keep your offensive flow uninterrupted.

Arcana

Equip Rage Barrage as your Arcana. This ability summons multiple homing magical projectiles that continuously attack nearby enemies. It lets you focus on moving and positioning while the projectiles handle stagger and area pressure. 

Since Rage Barrage functions independently once activated, you can freely move and use Drill Rush without breaking the attack rhythm.

Inspirations

The primary Inspiration for this setup is Drill Rush, which you unlock last from Ederig the Stalwart. This ability defines Brome’s mobility-based combat pattern, allowing you to strike enemies while maintaining control of the fight through constant repositioning.

 The rest of the build should focus on increasing the uptime and damage potential of Drill Rush. Alongside it, include Resonance Field and Battle Rage, both of which contribute to sustaining your attacks and enhancing your offensive output.

Drill Rush encourages a hit-and-run playstyle. You can move across enemies, deal consistent bursts of damage, and reset quickly for the next sequence. The overall strategy revolves around executing Drill Rush repeatedly while keeping your combo meter active and your mana refilled.

Rituals

Select Mana Flow as your first Ritual to gain additional mana whenever your combo counter rises. This works naturally with Brome’s aggressive rhythm since your combo meter will remain active for most of the encounter. Even if you lose it, rebuilding the counter is simple through constant use of Drill Rush.

Next, choose Lightning Skill, which raises your Static charge by 20% with each skill use. Once your charge reaches 100%, it triggers Chain Lightning, dealing extra elemental damage. Although Thunder is the recommended element for this build, both Wind and Fire are also viable choices depending on your playstyle. Lastly, take Fiery Arcana, which generates a fiery ring whenever you cast your Arcana. This complements your movement-heavy approach since you’ll often find yourself dashing into groups of enemies.

The combination of Mana Flow, Lightning Skill, and Fiery Arcana ensures that your attacks stay constant and that every rush has additional value through mana recovery, elemental damage, or area effects.

Trinkets

For Trinkets, the Juggernaut Helmet (Rare) is a good place to start. It makes your run strikes 40% more powerful. This helps Drill Rush directly and keeps the offensive pressure up while the ball is moving. 

When you pair it with Jaroba Oil (Epic), your moving speed goes up by 50% but friction goes down, making your character slide. Even though this can make exact placing harder, the speed boost is worth it because you can chase enemies and keep them under pressure.

Add the Tentacle Charm (Common) to improve your performance in multi-target encounters, granting a 15% bonus to all attacks that strike multiple enemies. Finish the set with the Ring of Magic (Common), which increases mana gained by 20%, further supporting the mana-hungry nature of this build.

This Trinket combination strengthens the build’s mobility and damage consistency. Juggernaut Helmet enhances your movement-based attacks, Jaroba Oil accelerates pursuit speed, Tentacle Charm extends damage potential across groups, and Ring of Magic ensures a constant mana supply for frequent ability use.

With this configuration, you can rely on Rage Barrage to manage nearby enemies while you use Drill Rush to navigate the battlefield. Each component of this build contributes to maintaining your speed, sustaining mana, and maximizing every strike, allowing Brome to stay in motion and control the flow of combat effectively.
