Arcani Part 1

Depending on how things go, I may focus on just 1 of my stories or continue with both. They are the uneditted versions, as in after I finish I'll go back and edit it and add more detail and all that good stuff, not the kind of uneditted that really should say uncensored.

 

 

"Romulus, General Garritios has ordered us to eliminate the leader of a
troublesome tribe in northern Gaul. Can you take care of her?"
"Her?"
"Her name is Felucia. She has proven herself a great warrior despite being a
woman and has garnered the support of neighboring tribes. Garritios would rather
not march a legion if he can avoid it."
"He afraid they will fail?"
"He'd prefer to save the Roman lives that would be lost if they had to march.
Should be an easy job, if you don't mind killing a woman."
"Yes sir, I'll leave at once."
"He asked that you make it clear that she was killed by a Roman hand, impale her
head on this spear. It has the Roman standard on it and will put them in their
place."
"I thought we were to keep things subtle."
"Not this time. You will have to meet with Mercintrix when you arrive. He will
lead you to their encampment."
"I am to trust a Gaul to lead me to kill another?"
"He has proven his loyalty to Rome in many battles with his tribesmen, he can be
trusted. Now go, the more we discuss this, the more time she has to prepare for
you."

Romulus heads out, with the spear in hand. His 2 gladius on his belt and his bow
and arrows on his shoulder, he makes his way north from Rome on the long journey
to northern Gaul. The trip takes several weeks. In that time, Felucia has
garnered more support and sacked several Roman towns.
