Building a factory for the purple Battery is a great way to boost your base power by 1,100. This setup is quite large, but it also lets you save extra Steel Parts to sell for 70 Stock Builds each. You will need a lot of space and a steady supply of Sand Leaf Powder to keep it running.

Placing the Depot Unloaders

Start by placing six Depot Unloaders in a straight line. On the right side, set the first two to output Ferrium.

You must use the refined version from your outposts, not the raw ore. The third unloader should be set to Sand Leaf Powder. On the left side, set the next two unloaders to Originium Ore. Finally, set the last unloader on the far left to Sand Leaf Powder as well.

Preparing the Powders

Place a Shredding Unit in front of the Ferrium unloaders. Put another Shredding Unit in front of the Originium Ore, but move it one block to the right to leave a gap. Next, place two Grinding Units directly in front of these shredders in Arknights: Endfield.

Use Conveyor Belts to feed the metals into the shredders and then into the grinders. You must also run belts from the Sand Leaf Powder unloaders into each grinder. Place an Electric Pylon between the two grinders to give them power.

Making Steel and Battery Parts

To turn the processed Ferrium into metal, place a Refining Unit facing from left to right. Move it one block to the left so the grinder can feed into it.

This will make Steel. Next, place a Fitting Unit one block in front of the refiner, facing right to left. Run the Steel into it to start making Steel Parts.

For the final assembly, place a Packaging Unit three blocks to the left of your Originium grinder. Run the Originium powder into the packaging machine using two belt lanes. Then, bring the Steel Parts from the Fitting Unit around and into the same machine in Arknights: Endfield.

Managing Power and Extra Stock

The Packaging Unit uses more Originium than Steel Parts, so the parts will eventually clog up. To fix this, place a row of Splitters on the line coming from the Fitting Unit. Direct them so most parts go to the battery machine, but any extra goes into a Protocol Stash.

Finally, place a Thermal Bank next to an Electric Pylon near the packaging machine. Use another Splitter to send 75% of your finished batteries into the Thermal Bank for power. Send the remaining 25% into the Protocol Stash so you can sell them later. This keeps your base powered and your pockets full.
