Here’s a beginner’s guide on some gameplay tips and tricks in CODE VEIN II.

In CODE VEIN II, you can get stronger by exploring the world and managing your gear. The game lets you go anywhere. You do not have to follow the main story right away. This means you can find better items before you fight big bosses.

Get Better Healing

You can upgrade your heals in two ways. Look at your map for blue squares. These have Golden Nectar. You need these to increase how many times you can heal. You also want to heal for more health each time in CODE VEIN II.

For that, you must find Towers of Regeneration. One tower is on the shoreline to the right of the Eastern Gate House Ruin. Another is on the left side of the map near Josee's Outpost. If you visit these, you will not have to waste two heels just to feel safe.

Using Boosters

Boosters give you extra power, like more damage or more stamina. You get them by using different Blood Codes. Put on a Blood Code and fight enemies to build your skill. When you finish, go back to Magamel and talk to Levvenia.

She will take the Booster out for you. You can also get them from Jadwiga if you bring her materials like Spectral Tissue. Some Boosters even let you get more Haze from enemies you kill in CODE VEIN II.

Understanding Gear and Burdens

Every weapon has a Burden. This is like a weight for your stats. If your Mind stat is too low for a sword, you will have a Mind Burden. This is very bad because you will lose health during fights.

You can fix this by wearing lighter gear like a Clotted Shield Light. Some other burdens just make you use more stamina. It is okay to use a weapon that does not fit your stats perfectly, but stay away from the Mind Burden.

Using Partners and Minions

Your friends like Noah and Lou help you in battle. They give you extra perks if you do their quests. Is will ask you to kill bosses and bring back Remnants in CODE VEIN II.

Doing this unlocks more of her help. You should also look for Jadwiga’s Minions standing around the world. They sell items like Tender Crimson Stones to upgrade your weapons. Each minion sells different things, so check all of them.

Exploring the World

Since the game is open, you can run around to find upgrade materials. If a boss is too hard, go to a different area and look for Tender Crimson Stones. Upgrading your weapon can make your damage go up a lot in CODE VEIN II.

You can also talk to Jadwiga to change how your weapon works. Items like Breath of the Master can make your weapon scale better with your best stats. Just be careful not to change a weapon to a stat you do not have.
